Cashburn is a personal finance management application that allows you to:

  • Track income, expenses, and transfers
  • Manage multiple financial accounts
  • Monitor investments and stock holdings
  • Generate financial reports and analytics
  • Export data for personal use

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Account Security

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your PIN and biometric authentication
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

3.2 Data Accuracy

You are responsible for the accuracy of the financial data you enter into the App. We are not liable for any errors in your financial records.

3.3 Compliance

You agree to use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

4. Premium Features

4.1 Subscription

Certain features require a premium subscription purchased through Apple's App Store. Subscriptions are billed according to the terms shown at the time of purchase.

4.2 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

4.3 Refunds

All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. Refund requests must be made directly to Apple according to their refund policy.

5. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Cashburn and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the App
  • Reverse engineer or decompile the App
  • Use the App's name, logo, or trademarks without permission

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. All financial data is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your financial information.

7. Third-Party Services

7.1 Stock Market Data

Stock price information is provided by third-party services (Yahoo Finance). We do not guarantee the accuracy, timeliness, or availability of this data.

7.2 No Financial Advice

The App provides tools for tracking and analyzing your finances but does not provide financial, investment, or tax advice. Consult qualified professionals for financial guidance.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations

8.1 No Warranty

The App is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

  • The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
  • Data accuracy or completeness
  • The App will meet your specific requirements

8.2 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data, profits, or financial losses
  • Errors in financial calculations or reports
  • Unauthorized access to your device or data

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Cashburn harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

10. Data Backup

You are responsible for backing up your financial data. We recommend:

  • Regularly exporting your data using the App's export features
  • Using iCloud backup for your device
  • Keeping copies of important financial records

We are not responsible for data loss due to device failure, deletion, or other causes.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. You may terminate your use by deleting the App from your device.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Switzerland.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect.
